Camp lesson: Violation/timout simultaneously

Reply to R.Ogg..Simul/violation&timeout
Once white has player control, timeout can
be granted. If white coach called for time
when his player picked up ball,,,OK.
If called later,,,violation.

Being a summer league,running clock early in the game, and if there wasn't any defensive pressure on the white team,
I think I would have ignored it.
