One of the misconceptions people (fans, mostly) have on a spot throw-in is that there is a pivot foot when inbounding the ball. There is not.

I know there are a lot of things you can do in the 3' foot wide box that an inbounder has, (jump, move side to side or forward and back) but here is my question:

Can he/she dribble/bounce the ball? I'm not talking about a bounce pass, which must land in bounds, I'm talking about dribbling the ball. Any thoughts?
