Backcourt violation or not ?

The guy you describe certainly qualifies as a howler as well as a monkey. We have always taught our players to throw it in to their teammate in back court if they are getting pressure in the front court but not in back. I have a hard time believing the guy didn't know the rule if he was out of grade school. DO NOT LET THE MORONS GET TO YOU! If he was really that ill-informed, it's a shame he is coaching. If he was just trying to get to you, it's a shame he is coaching. Either way, it's too bad his players don't have somebody better to guide them. And it's too bad you have to put up with people like that.
