Our kids rec league recruits some each year and they start by working 3rd and 4th grade games. Some of them stuck with it and a few eventually worked "real" HS games. In fact, one became a college official. Most of his early training was done by me and by his dad, who is also an official.

I know I'll miss it, but all good things must come to an end, or so the song goes.
