Lemme guess.....early 20's.....worked some rec league games in one of Mark Padgett's Hot Mom neighborhood leagues out there.....never worked a legitimate high school game of any kind in your life.....never received any formal officiating training of any kind....may have access to an old rule book but don't have a current rule book....don't have a clue what a case book is, let alone a mechanics manual.....thinks it's a hoot to stir up the real officials.

That just about cover your resume?

Your kind isn't new here. Unfortunately, you show up on a semi-regular basis. The good thing is that none of you last. You either get tired of trolling or the mods get rid of you. And your personal past-due date here was last week. So, why not just shoo now instead of delaying the inevitable?

You should edit the last point. It should read:

Team A is the first to touch the ball after it has achieved a backcourt status. The ball need not be touched in the backcourt.

Also edit the third point -- A need not touch the ball in the FC

No, you're the jerk. You started it with your negative insults last week and continue it in this thread.

There's nothing about you that's legit. This is a simple question that a first year official would ask about. So don't give us that BS that you could replace anyone on this forum.

It was a legit question, followed by a legit critique of your legit question.

Frankly, your question is only legit for newbies who have no business working a high school game of any level. Given your recent history on here of shooting off your mouth about older officials, you frankly earned that response.

Don't you have a television show on CBS at 10:00 p.m. every Thursday night?

Move Along, Nothing to See Here Folks, The Mythbusters Have This Covered ...

During a throwin, even under a team’s own basket, if the throwin is deflected, tipped, or batted by an offensive player in the frontcourt to an offensive player in the backcourt; or after a missed field goal attempt or a missed foul shot attempt, if the ball is deflected, tipped, or batted by an offensive player in the frontcourt to an offensive player in the backcourt; these are not a backcourt violations. In both cases team control, a player holding or dribbling the ball, has not yet been established.
