Taping during free throws?

During the first free throw of a two shot foul A2 goes by his bench stands on court while trainer/coach tape his finger while A1 shoots. By rule is there any violation by A2 of Trainer bench?

By rule: the trainer must remain seated if he's part of the bench. If he's not part of the bench, that doesn't apply.
Either way, the player must stay on the court.

As long as the player remains on the court above free throw line extended I have nothing.

Another FT Situation

Players are lined up for 2 FTs. Prior to bouncing the ball to the shooter, a player lined up along the lane bends down to tie their shoe. The official administering the FT is waiting for the player to finish with his/her shoe business before making the ball available to the shooter. I suggested that we go ahead with the first of the two FTs and if the shoe is still not secured then we wait on the second FT.

Any thoughts, it seems to me that every time I see this (maybe 3 or 4 this year) the administering official has everyone wait while the shoe is tied. Is it not okay to shoot the first and wait if necessary?

Personally, I see no reason to even hold the 2nd FT; but at the very least I'm having the first shot taken before I even consider it.

I'll shoot on the first free throws and hold the ball before the second one.
