When I asked why, I was told that there is supposed to be an ice storm there later in the evening and they wanted to get the game in before it hits. So it is OK for me to potentially get stuck in the storm while commuting, without any travel pay, so the teams can get their game and get to their local homes?:(

I brought this to the attention of the assignor. His only response was "I don't have anyone to replace you, I would consider it a favor to Me if you will re-accept the game." Districts start in 10 days, I hope He remembers the favor.

Hotel room may be in order.

Capital "H" in he? You really do suck around your assignor, don't you? :D

He'd damnwell better remember the people that help him out when he's stuck. If he doesn't, he ain't gonna that that help from them in the future. And that's strictly on him, no one else.

You're having my last year. I feel for you.

As I recall, one of our problems with so many cancellations last yr came down to then trying to squeeze the remainder of the season into a few short weeks just before playoff time. Man were we getting busy! Assignor was going nuts!! Couldn't happen though, so they lopped off the end of the season and moved everyone into playoffs.

My kid's school didn't delay (2 hours) until 7AM -- by then my daughter was up. She could've used the extra sleep. Drifts on rural roads -- I wonder if they will cancel in the end -- apparently people are snowed in.

I'm OK with it. I'm enjoying this mid-season break.

My daughter didn't have school today, but my game went on as scheduled. I just got home (I stopped for a sandwich on the way).

That's actually a feature of all human memory, where the amygdala regulates memories according to their emotional connections.

Maybe more than you wanted to know... ;)

But i lost my games on tuesday, there were no precipitation and the sun was actually out. They pulled the plug to early, might of been that it was Magnolia West vs Stratford. My games for today got cancelled as well.

Texas, well Houston anyways, is not built for this kind of weather.

Are you doing baseball??

Actually not, I googled amygdala and added to my repertoire of little used knowledge.:)
