Once it's obvious the coach doesn't want an explanation, even though he's asking a question (he's playing Jeopardy), tell him it's time to move on and get the ball in play. And 99% of the time, he makes it clear immediately what his intent is.

Personally, I may have popped him immediately for being on the court screaming at me. I can't say for sure, though.
