If at the start of the game when the officials go introduce themselves to the coach A, coach A turns and walks away and extends a short arm, dead fish hand-shake.
Does this send the wrong message to team A, or anyone else? ![]() NF Rule: 10-4-1a. ?

If you're asking if I've give a T, then no. I wouldn't even dream about it in your scenario.

You're seriously considering giving out a T to a coach because he gives you a "wimpy" handshake during pregame?
No. No. No. A thousand times, no. If that's the most "disrespectful" thing a coach has ever done to you, then you're lived a charmed life indeed. |

That being said, walking away from the officials as they apporach a coach is a low-key disrespectful move. Although I wouldnt whack him for it, he set the tone & his rope would be much shorter than normal.
