I believe that he was. He might be asking for mechanics, positioning, etc. Hence my question in post #2.

Positioning looked fine to me. C was a little far back, but had a great angle to signal the 3. T signaled the end of time and then mirrored the successful try. L was waiting by the exit door, but will have to re-watch to see where he was for the final 3 seconds.

I suppose, after looking at it again, that L could have closed down a bit, but he had a good look at the players in his primary. T may have held his signal a bit longer than needed, but with an exciting ending, I don't think it is critical. Most people viewing the video are looking at the shooter.

I watched the clip again this time focusing on officials, the only thing that I noticed is on the free throw, the trail official is not watching the three players that are in the backcourt because he's too close to the shooter. I was taught to hang back by the division line so I can see the remaining players if some are away from the front court during a free throw. The last varsity game I was working, my partner actually saw and called the foul on a player for kneeing his opponent right in the arse! This foul occurred behind the division line during a free throw! Great catch! I hope to see some more of your excellent videos like last year. It has been a great help to me to see what everybody else sees and hear how reffs (not time keepers) would call particular fouls, violations, etc. Good Luck! LW

When I put the last 3 seconds to a stop watch i consistently got just over 3.0 seconds, although it is hard to tell exactly when the ball is touched because of the camera panning out. In real time it seems pretty evident to me that the shot was released prior to the horn.

The other thing I thought you fellas might critique was where the ball was at then the timeout was called in relation to where they inbounded the ball in at or is that even a big deal?

You couldn't tell where ball was inbounded. Looks like it should have been in backcourt 5-6 feet. Trail official runs in on last second clip from what appears backcourt, although there might have been pressure to inbound and he stepped back. Really can't determine.

Wondering who granted timeout? I hear whistle but C looks like he didn't have it, yet has arm up. That said, Trail doesn't appear to be moving to table signalling time.
