Had a great game last night

For those who know the teams, I had Annapolis Christian and Bullis Prep.

It was close most of the night. It ended in a 3 point win for Annapolis 66-63.

We had about 5 players over 6'5" about 10 players could dunk. We don't get a lot of that here. ( It was a tournament ).

The coaches knew what they were doing and they were polite.

We had a great crew and I believe we each had our best game of the year. I mean we didn't miss much.

I missed a moving screen, but on the same play the defense stole the ball, so I was happy. I had a very good offense foul and we had about 4 dunks in the game ( Big crowd pleasers. )

I wish I had a question, but we don't get this type of quality here and I just wanted to share the experience.

It is easier to referee good teams. ( we did have 43 total fouls ) I had 2 off ball myself. No one got a free shot at the basket, if you went to the basket, you got fouled.

I hope all your games are as good as this one was.. Have a safe New Year.

No buzzer beaters.

I had a game the night before with 6 or 7 lead changes and a tie after 3 Qs.

Good basketball this year.

If you think that was a good game, then you would go nuts if you worked something like DeMatha / St. Francis !!!!!!

I hope that you get the chance to work Alhambra (ACIT). I have had the opportunity to work it 4 times and it will go as one of the best events I have ever worked.

Rudy Gay / Juan Dixon / Keith Bogans / Carmelo Anthony / Brad Wannemaker (Pitt) / Scoop Jardine and Rick Jackson ("Cuse) / Danny Ferry (old school) / Marvin Harrison (Colts) / Sean Moseley (U of MD).....I am talkin BUCKETS !!!!!!!!!!

While it isn't the same as it once was because the Philly teams aren't in it anymore, it s still one of the best hs events in the country.

You should talk to B. R. (you know who I am talking about), he can possibly put you in touch with the current assigner.

Best of luck...........................
