We just discovered a German U-Boat sailor who was hiding out on Long Island for the past sixty-five years. Nobody ever told him that the war was over. We had him as a guest at one of our high school basketball games. Seeing only two officials, he said, "Nichts hat sich wirklich in 65 Jahren verändert". Not sure what it meant, but I'm sure that it was a compliment.
