4-19:
ART. 5 . . . A technical foul is: e. An indirect technical, charged to the head coach as a result of a bench technical foul being assessed to team bench personnel, or a technical foul being assessed to a team member for dunking or grasping the ring during pregame warm-up or at intermission. Yes, if the bench personnel get 2 they're done. It's misleading to say "direct" in that context, because only the head coach can receive an indirect T.

From 10-4 (Bench Technical):
PENALTY: (Arts. 1, 2, 3, 4) Two free throws plus ball for division-line throw-in. If the head coach is the offender, the foul is charged directly to him/her. The foul is charged to the offender (if not the head coach) and also charged indirectly to the head coach.

What he said.
If you can identify the offender, give it to the offender and an indirect to the HC. If you cannot identify the offender, but you know it was "somebody" on the bench, then charge it to the team and indirectly to the HC. If there are multiple, identifiable offenders each committing the same offense, assign a single technical foul to the team, rather than handing out a basketful of T's to individual team members, and an indirect to the HC.
