unsporting foul

The NFHS part I test has the following question: An unsporting foul may be a personal foul. a. TRUE b. FALSE - the answer by NFHS is true on the exam. Please give me an example of when this is true. I just can't figure this out, but it must be simple. Help!

It is simple. The NFHS made a mistake.

Another question about NFHS test part 1, Referees duties of any game official includeexcept which one)
A)administer penalties
b)grant time outs
c)put ball in play
d)becon subs in the game
E)make decisions on any pts not specifically covered in the rules

A-D is in rule 2-7, but E is rule 2-3 Answer is E, but aren't all these duties?

E is specific to the Referee of the game. The others are basic duties of the game officials.

Wouldn't an unsporting foul also go against the personal foul count?

No, it counts towards the total foul count.

Methinks you mean the total player foul count, including all personal and/or technical fouls charged to them.

NFHS rule 4-14

That is where I think the NFHS is thinking. There was a test question recently that made it true because of the count.

Defined

4-19-14 An unsporting foul is a noncontact technical foul which consists of unfair, unethical, dishonorable conduct or any behavior not in accordance with the spirit of fair play. (my emphasis)

NFHS is here, and in most definitions, so specific in their use of the language that it's hard to believe that this would have been anything other than an error on the question. If they wanted to ask about the foul counting against a total I would think they would have worded the question in that way.
