As a veteran varsity basketball & volleyball scorekeeper I too would prefer choice C. It could be used for volleyball as well as basketball-My only suggestion would be to change the light alignment:I would put 5 lights in a straight line for the timeouts and then to their right on each side Bonus and possesion lights.In volleyball the timeout lights could serve as the score by set.
