Happy Easter ...

And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, approached, rolled back the stone, and sat upon it. His appearance was like lightning and his clothing was white as snow. The guards were shaken with fear of him and became like dead men. Then the angel said to the women in reply, "Do not be afraid! I know that you are seeking Jesus the crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised just as he said. (Matthew 28:2-6)

Qur'an 3:55. “And when Allah said: O Jesus I am going to terminate the period of your stay on earth and cause you to ascend unto Me and purify you of those who disbelieve and make those who follow you above those who disbelieve to the day of resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, so l will decide between you concerning that in which you differed.”

And from me...

All European languages have a word for Easter that is linked to the Hebrew word for Passover (for instance Pâques in French). Only English has a word linked to the Pagan festival that gave us eggs, bunnies, and other fertility symbols that have no connection to the Easter myth.

The Humane Society? I'd think it would be the National Association for the Prevention of Really Really Bad Interior Decorating!

Jullie, the NAPRRBID - what kind of name is that?

Also, Mr Mac, it appears your slowly slipping in to the habit of posting pictures again. Might I remind you of where that got us before? You were doing so well for so long..... Resist my friend, resist.

Oh, and Happy Easter and Passover to all!

Thanks for the heads up. I'll try to limit the images as much as possible.

Also. My father was Mr. Mac. Y'all can just call me BillyMac. My basketball buddies in high school called me "Big Mac".
