Happy Easter Snowday

That's right we have about six inches of snow already and it's still falling!

Where the heck is spring?

We got a little last night. Of course, I'm in Alaska, and a little snow even into early May isn't unusual, although the reoads are pretty much clear here now. Still got another week or so before the whole yard is melted.

I feel you pain, Nevadaref.
The last snow pile in my yard went away just this afternoon.
I am assuming there will be more.

I'm guessing I'm glad that didn't happen here.

Maybe that explains the freeze notice we have in effect for later tonight here in western Colorado.

There were storms and tornados all day yesterday around in this area. Not too bad today, a little cool in the afternoon, but it was still a nice day.

South Texas - we're gonna fry this summer... hit 99 today and they decided to have "rolling blackouts" in the city - i.e. selectively turn off power to about 10K customers at a time for about 15 minutes so that larger blackouts don't occur. Summer is still over a month away

What is snow? I thought it was illegal?

It got down to the low 60's this winter here in Hawaii with lots of rain and wind...it was a long, hard winter. I haven't shoveled snow since 1998 and don't ever intend to again.
