Humorous 5-second rule application....

Last night, during the middle of the fourth quarter of a fairly intense boys cross-county rivalry varsity game, the home coach was yelling instructions to his team when his gum popped out of his mouth onto the floor. Without missing a beat, he quickly bent down, picked up the gum and popped it back into his mouth.

He was so quick, that I had barely gotten to a 2-count -- well within the 5-second rule.
