What if I added that it was dark enough that I didn't even notice that it was navy until late in the 3rd quarter of a 20-pt game?

Close enough, then. JMO, of course.

If it was close enough that you didn't notice, then, don't notice it.

What do some on the Forum say, "Don't be a plumber."

Or as one of my evaluators would say, "Rob, why do you want to bring that junk into the game?"

Oh I agree completely. Just got me wondering if there was an evaluator in the stands would I get dinged..

My navy blue socks are similar enough to my black socks that I have to take a pretty good look to know for sure.

Of course, I'm partially color-blind...

I would tell the evaluator, "According to the rule (3-5, ART. 5 . . . Undershirts shall be a single solid color similar to the torso of the jersey)..... "and I thought it was similar enough."

If your evaluator wants to ding you for that, you're going to have other, more important issues to deal with IMO.

Tell the evaluator, "Roger, I thought it was similar enough. I'll look harder next time," and move on.
