You and Tony are some of the most sensitive people around here.

And that's why you spend days replying to anyone who disagrees with you until you get in the last word? Another fine retort from the king of insecure.

and yes...I know it somehow makes sense to you backed up by "Rut's rules" which change on a daily basis depending on your current state of psychosis. :-)

Way to go,Juulie!Ask a simple question and you start WW111.Quite the talent you've got there!

My opinion?
1)Agree with Rocky-technical foul. With the minor injury caused by the contact, you could possibly deem it flagrant, also, especially at lower levels.I would imagine that the WNBA will review the play to see if any further discipline is needed.
2)Of course the WNBA is a professional league. The players, coaches, league administrators, etc. all get paid. They have a TV contact, with more exposure than the NBDL and other minor pro mens leagues. They draw some pretty fair crowds,also-sometimes better than some NBA games. The players in the league are also damn fine, skilled athletes, too.
3)I don't watch much NBA anymore, either. Not because of the officiating, like Dan.It's more for Rec Ref's reasons. The posturing,chest-beating,dissing crap just wears me out.At least in the WNBA,the players seem to play hard, play defense and actually seem to care, too.
4)Rut?I gave up taking anything that he says seriously a long time ago.
JMO.

When I say being sensitive, it is not responding to things that are apart of a discussion we are having. If that is your definition of sensitivity, so be it. I am talking about how you get offended (including Tony and others like you) or thinking someone is being a smart *** because the crack a joke about the WNBA or anything for that matter that does not fit your value system. I think people have the right to say the WNBA is not professional basketball or crack about anything they feel about any level or any sport they want. That is why this is called a discussion board. And if people are not suppose to respond to differing opinions, then you should not be here. The last time I checked, that is why I am here. As a matter of fact, that is the only reason I am here. If I wanted to just have yes people to discuss things, I would go to an association meeting (just joking) .

Wait a minute, you just replied to what I said to you. What does that make you in your world?

Peace

Smile Waiting for diversity

I prefer the WNBA a little more diversity in it. The NBA needs to adopt corporate America's policy and have racial % requirements on each team. I can't relate.

Yeah, you put it better than I did. The game is called
the way it's called. The game is ruined because of the way
the game is played and the way the players act. And you see
less of that in the wnba (which I do watch).

I love responding and showing how silly you are. That does not mean I ever cared what you say. You live in a state that produced Senator Helms. I am really not listening to anyone from that state.

Peace.

And you live in a state that produced Richard Daley, Al Capone and Hillary Clinton. Two are gone, but I'll be happy to send you the third one back.

I guess that is why Michael Jordan calls Chicago home. I guess North Carolina was such a great place to live. As I said, that is why I do not listen to people from North Carolina.

Peace

So to sum up, no one saw that specific play.

DARN. I'm assuming from the shots with the lane cleared, that there was a T. But I was hoping that someone else got a better shot at it than me.

Is anyone disappointed that Indiana lost? I like them for some reason, and was hoping for better.

Tony, I know you are older and wiser than me, but my motherly nag voice is taking over here... Just let him have the last word. So what?

Isn't D.C., or perhaps an expensive suburb in MD or NOVA, home now?

Besides, Hillary's "home" is wherever is most convenient to her - if the Canadian Parliament had an open seat, she'd learn French and claim she was born in Montreal.

Hey - I lived in Chicago when Daley was mayor and he was a damn good one. So what if he ran a machine? At least the city workers never went on strike and the streets were clean.

And - my grandfather worked for Al Capone (really). He always said Al was a really good guy and it was a shame what the feds did to him. All I know is that we always got a free turkey on Thanksgiving.

You're right about Hillary, though.

Note to Juulie - Paul Allen should put the Fire on ASCN. That way, my cable system wouldn't carry them (that's an inside Portland-area joke).
