Go somewhere else, that should solve your problem.

BTW, I know many white people that do not like Jesse Helms either. The difference is they do not live in North Carolina. That is probably the only place he could pull the crap he does and still get elected. The fact that you like the man tells me all I need to know about you. Peace

Jesse Jackson is the only "idiot" in our government that can get American Hostages out of Hostile Countries in this country. So I will take that idiot over someone that is not liked outside of his own district.
No wonder you think the way you do, you only can think what goes on in North Carolina. Chicago and the area is known and visited by people all over the country and world. What do they do in North Carolina but have tabacco fields? Great legacy in North Caaroolna. I mean Illinois has corn, but much more to see here. I guess that is why MJ does not live there. I guess that is why pro players hang out and play ball in North Caaarrooollinna too? Peace

All of the above is courtesy of your own Chicago newspapers. Methinks that you could make a great sitcom out of the true-life tales of the two Jesse's and Hilary. [Edited by Jurassic Referee on Aug 20th, 2002 at 04:24 AM] |

I know exactly what you mean. If I hadn't seen it happen on so many other posts, I'd take it personally. Even so, it's hard to understand why so many people who "enjoy" the WNBA didn't see a play that happened on national TV on a Saturday afternoon. Eli or Drake -- Do you have any info on this play that you would be allowed to share? |

I had an excuse.

rainmaker,
I did not see the play, and i do not know the rules used in the WNBA. If the foul was not flagrant, then it is a player control foul.(no shots). If it is flagrant, two shots. I don't think a flagrant foul has to be penalized with disqualification. I am only guessing. Wish I could help.

Rainmaker,
I did not see the play. I have never watched much pro basketball (men or women), but since Sue Bird came to Seattle, I must admit that I enjoy watching the Storm. I was busy this weekend and did not watch any TV. From what you described, it sounds like the official thought that the L.A. player did something unsportsmanlike so a technical foul seems reasonable.
