PC or Block?
Tom O'Neill was the Lead and called this a PC foul at the end of the Missouri State/Illinois State game on Friday. I think he got it exactly right. Defender gets LGP and slides to maintain it and doesn't initiate contact. It's certainly not a block. Does it look like a good no-call to anyone?
It's the last play of the highlight at about 43 seconds. Missouri State Basketball: Bears Top Redbirds in Front 10,008 Fans | KSPR - News, Weather, Sports Springfield, MO | Local News |

It is not a no-call. It looks like a PC foul to me. The defender is retreating. The defender takes the contact in the chest (not required by the way) and the offensive player is not airborne. Looks like a good call and in these cases I like to default to the foul on the offense when the ball handler has no where to go. And this was not a very difficult call.
Peace

Of course it's the correct call.....
It says so right in the article!
