Fall from grace - traveling

Under NFHS rules a player has traveled after controlling a rebound and falling to the court with or without a foot first touching the court. Traveling would apparently not occur under FIBA, NBA and WNBA rules. The wording of the NCAA rule suggests that a travel would occur only if a foot touched first thereby establishing a pivot.

Here is the NCAA wording.

4-68-6 It is traveling when a player falls to the playing court while holding the ball without maintaining a pivot foot.

Can anyone provide confirmation or clarification, particularly with regard to NCAA rules?
