Not true. Howard assigns lots of middle school games all over the Portland Metro.

Our state regulates that anything below 9th grade has to play 6-minute quarters. Any game played with all 9th graders (freshman game) can be played in 6 or 7-minute quarters. JV can play 7 or 8-minute quarters.
