Maybe not this year yet........

Like many topics, this gets discussed here.....oh, probably annually.

My favorite line from the article - "There are no fat referees anymore. Everybody is on some kind of maintenance program."

But of course the big question on SOME of our minds..... Is Steve Welmer back to 100%? Has he lost a step? Will he show any floor rust? Will he once again go after another grueling, brutal schedule? Do his pants actually fit better? Will the economy pick up on college campuses around the country? Do the new crop of incoming freshman need to be tutored once more by the upper-classmen? Inquiring minds want to know.....

Let the games begin!

Good read. Thanks for sharing.

Do his pants actually fit better?

After just a few Fall League G MS games, I'm already in mid season form in the "Pants Hitching" category!!

I don't know about all that. I'm not one to point fingers but Jim Burr and Tim Higgins are certainly not lean and mean.

One of these guys did not work the tournament at all last year and the other only worked the first weekend. Maybe that tells all of us something. Maybe it tells us nothing, I am not sure.

Peace

I don't know about you... but I can't wait for the return of the Steve Welmer drinking game.

Is college basketball season here yet?!

Get your distiller ready. I understand Welmer has 120 games this season.

It was a good article.

I didn't know Shaw is now over the Big 12. What happened to Dale Kelley?

The wait is over... been watching the Memphis/Kansas game on ESPN tonight. However, I lost count a long time ago.

Apparently he only lost the Big 12, so Dale Kelley is still around. But the change was apparently made after the CCA manual was published.
