I can visualize the play, let's see if I can describe it:
Player A is taking the ball out of bounds. Player B reaches over the plane and slaps Player A on the arm. What is the call? Does it make a difference whether the ball was over the plane? The arm? Neither? THanks. YOu must have patience with us Rookies! |

If the ball and the contact occured beyond the plane on the court side, it would be a personal.
If the contact was beyond the plane OOB, then it is an Intentional. If the contact is on the Ball on the OOb side, T. |

When player B reaches through the plane and slaps A on the arm, you have an intentional foul. If player B reached through the plane and hit the ball, it would be a technical foul.
If player A reaches through the plane, the ball is fair game. Z |
