Sad News

[26 Year Gap]

I recently moved 1700 miles away from my home state, but frequent the websites of some of the local papers. Saw an article in one of the papers about an accident in a small town in my former area, so I clicked on it. A young HS student was killed in a hunting accident last week. He was mistaken for a turkey by his father, who used to be an official in my Vermont Association. I cannot imagine what the father is going through, so lift him up in prayer if that is something you do

I too will pray for this father. We never know why things happen, just that it's all a part of God's plan. I would rather die than to hurt my child.

Strange and unforseen occuance befall us all. Lets not blame God. Our heart does go out to this father. I cannot even begin to imagine his pain.
