I'm sure it was out of frustration but it was still ridiculous. To his credit, Blake got up and walked away. This isn't the first time this year an opponent has come after him. Griffin and Hansbrough seem to both get a lot of this type of crap. They're both so physical and tenacious, other players get frustrated and do stupid stuff.

Second ejection of the night in KC!
#34 for Morgan St. had already been talked to about rough play. He had picked up 3 fouls in less than 5 minutes of play. He was sent in due to foul trouble on the other two bigs. IMO, Blake initiates alot of what happens to him. He is good at it too. He will take plenty of chances to get chucks and arm bars. He is strong enough to not let it show. Then the retaliation comes and they are not nearly as good as he is at it. BTW, He did not just walk away and say nothing. He was screaming at the guy on the other end. THe cameras did not show that. He had a few finger points etc. i have #34 two points for the take down though! |

Clearly a flagrant call, no doubt.
But, it seems on this one they could have blown the whistle sooner and avoided an ejection and a potential serious injury. Both players had been tangled for several steps with plenty of contact before the WWF move happened. I only saw the replay, and I am missing context. Maybe they really were tangled up and the refs were letting them get untangled. |
