HUSKIES UPSET NO. 1 NORTHERN KENTUCKY IN REGIONAL SEMIFINAL!
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — Michigan Tech pulled the upset! The No. 22-ranked women's basketball played an excellent game on both ends of the floor to take down No. 1-ranked Northern Kentucky 76-53 at NKU's Bank of Kentucky Center tonight and earn a spot in the NCAA Midwest Regional Championship.

Cool. Good for them.

Of course, No. Kentucky was #1 because Seattle Pacific upset Alaska Anchorage several weeks ago. But still, Mich. Tech would have pulled a big upset beating the #2 team anyway. Gotta love tournament time!!

DII Michigan Tech Women won their regional [69-52], and now go to San Antonio for an Elite Eight appearance.
...Just sayin'.

DII Michigan Tech Women lost in Elite Eight today [Mankato 61 - Tech 53] cuz they didn't play well enough.
