Hightower Asserts Himself

Hightower poking his finger at an asst coach, leaning over toward him, pointing at the bench, poking again,

assistant finally, finally goes and sits down.

wish I had that kinda cred.

Hightower was absolutely right in his actions. That assistant had no business being up and giving an opinion on the replay review.

I'd just use my voice and accomplish the same thing.

Most of us would just tell the HC to assert himself. Hightower has earned the ability to do this however he wants.

In this case the AC needed to be put in his place. Ed told him he needed to return to the bench and the AC said something back to Hightower.

Ya, ACs talking to refs isn't necessary, especially providing commentary about how a replay review should go.

Earlier in the game (about 16 minutes left inthe first half), he spent a considerable amount of time at the monito to determine that the shot clock should be at 34 and not 35.

I'm all for getting it right, but if he knew there was posession, just set the clock down, otherwise let it go at that point in the game.
