Ed Hightower

Not sure if everyone has heard, but espn is reporting that Ed Hightower is done for the rest of the year because of an knee injury suffered earlier this week in a game he was working.

Officials were using television networks covering games they are working to send out their best well wishes to Ed for a speedy recovery.

Would rather have Billy Packer out for the season. Hopefully, Ed will be back in good shape next season.

Dickie V at least would not shut up so Nantz could criticize the head of the selection committee as well. So the head of the selection committee would only get roasted by one guy.

All three of the guys deserve to be tossed when it comes to giving opinions about officiating and how officials are selected to work different games regular season or post season.

I disagree, John. Vitale never criticizes officials the way Packer does.

26, if you had to listen to Packer as much as we do in the ACC, you would be glad to listen to Dickie V.

I heard it was a miniscus with Ed. I didn't hear how long he would be out, but a miniscus doesn't sound good. That's too bad.

Depends. I've had lateral tears in the meniscus in both knees that has been rectified with arthroscopic surgery and was back running within two weeks.
Knees can be fickle though. I wish Ed the best and a speedy recovery.
