Terrific game! If 'Cuse could make an effing layup, they'd have won after 4 OTs.

Padgett would have called that foul at the end of the 4th OT to end this brutality.

This may bring on the Recruits for next year!

Adam Fri Mar 13, 2009 12:10am

'Cuse hadn't led in extra innings, now they're up 5 with 3 left. Both teams just look exhausted. Isn't it after 1:00 out there?

Wow! Missed dunk, offensive rebound, "and one."

I think Padgett would of counted the basketball at the end of the 2nd half!

Good point, there wouldn't have been anything after that.

Padgett wouldn't even have needed to do that. After dealing with coaches for years, I'm sure he knows that all he needed to do was call some more "reaches" and "over the backs" to get guys at the FT line more often. C'mon guys, it's called preventative officiating!

Either way, this is one heck of a game, though Jamie Luckie must be a terrible official like everyone says. What kind of official would let a game go 4 OTs?!?!?!:p

I don't believe that he was one of the officials.

Officials: John Cahill ,James Breeding ,Bob Donato

Wow, what a game!

I am told the reason we didn't hear from Padgett is he was curled up in a ball in the corner of his den in a cold sweat repeating, "T O O N, T O O N!"

(See "The Shining", R E D R U M.) ;)

That is not what happened.

The UConn defender was chasing, he was not setting a screen.

The Syracuse teammate was running beside the defender and turned left into him. I would compare it to walking beside a swimming pool with a friend and deciding to knock him in.

Jamie Luckie was not working the game. He's working the ACC Tournament.

You sir, are 100% correct. Don't know why I thought Luckie was working. Perhaps because I saw him work the Miami-VT game earlier in the day.
