You make the call.
Rec league boys high school division. NFHS rules
4th quarter 1:04 to go. Team A losing by two. A1 is on the free throw line for the front-end of a one and one. A1 has the ball and A4 burning off nervous energy in the front court walks down the sideline (beyond the three point line) to the baseline. Do you ignore it or call the lane violation?

What justification is there for not calling it?
However, if the distance past the FTLE is such that I need a laser eye to detect, then I no-call it. Preventative officiating says to be aware of such cases and give an approaching player the stop sign. It's already worked twice for me this season. ![]()

I;m with JR. Trail is either getting run over by this kid or can see him walking down the opposite sideline. Try getting him stopped or whistle the violation. If he has too much energy in the lane and comes in early you would call it, no?
