The eyes of March is upon us!
So with March Madness approaching us, are we going to set up a pool on ESPN this year or what? And also, who will be the championship officials this year? My vote is to Gerry Pollard

The Eyes of March ARE upon us. That would be the correct usage. But it might be confusing if other dates than March 15th are included for discussion when using "Ides".
