Tension breaker.

Has anyone ever done this? I have heard the urban legend that a ref let most of the air out of the ball during the pregame and after the tip the team that gained control tried to dribble and... well you can picture it. This sounds funny to me but I would never have the stones to do it in a game. The bigger the game the funnier it would be. (Maybe I am just that twisted)

Never heard of it, can't imagine doing this in a game of any consequence.

Sounds twisted to me. Personally before the jump ball i bounce the ball once. Therefore I would not be able to do it. Might be funny to see however.

Sounds like a Globetrotters trick to me. Better hope there is an airpump around if you ever try it. And if you do, poetic justice would be going out to the parking lot to see that someone did that trick on your car tires.

Colors may fade.

In some low level games, I will occassionally "accidently" step on one of the jumpers feet before I'm ready to toss, just to see the reactions that I get.
