What's the call?
Girls Varsity Conference Championship game. I'm the lead. Loose ball, A1 gains possession on her back near the end line. Although her head was off the court her pony tail was long enough to reach the floor, out of bounds. B1 is over her trying to get the ball, just as I notice the pony tail A1 calls time out. I grant the time out. Is this an out of bounds situation? Advantage/disadvantage?
What do you all have on this one? |

Possible penalties for early withdrawal.
There was a recent interpretation regarding this. I'm sure Nevadaref will find it as soon as he fires up his computer, that is, the computer in his brain.

From 2005-06 Interps:
SITUATION 9: A1 recovers a loose ball on the playing court near the sideline, with his/her body entirely in bounds. However, A1's head is hovering out of bounds and his/her hair (which is in a long ponytail) is touching the floor, out of bounds. RULING: A1 is called for the out-of-bounds violation. (7-1-1; 7-1-2; 9-3-1)

Breaking seal constitutes acceptance of agreement.
grunewar: What have you done with Nevadaref, and how much ransom do we have to pay for you to keep him?

One size fits all.
That's why he posts on the very much more serious NFHS forum. I like to post on this Forum, where I get to be myself, that is, myself, with no images. OK, one image in past six months, but that was a "Coaches Versus Cancer" logo, which I hope Forum members don't hold against me.
