Illinois High School Summer Leagues

I'm graduating college in May and will be moving back home to Rolling Meadows, IL. I've been officiating intramurals here at Indiana for the past two seasons and I really like it. I've been wondering about reffing summer leagues around town and have run into some differing answers on this board.

I know of two high school summer leagues around RM, one is at Harper College in Palatine, and the other is at Schaumburg High School. I think the Harper one is Varsity and SHS is a sophomore league.

Does anyone know for sure whether or not I would have to be patched to work these games? Does anyone have any contact information for someone to talk to?

You do not have to be patched like you would during the season. The IHSA does not regulate games during the summer so there is no requirement to have licensed officials for leagues or tournaments during that period of time.

That being said, most of the assignors are officials (not always regular assignors) and will contact only known licensed officials those games.
