Time out?
Perused rule book, couldn't find answer. 99.9% percent sure allowable but I've never seen it and can't find reference.
Can a coach (or player) call a time out when their player is on the line and ball is at their disposal. No different than inbounding would be rationale. Again, I've never seen it. |

Look for a phrase similar to "... such a request being granted when a player of that team is in control of the ball or the ball is at the disposal of that team."
Decide if either (or both) of those conditions exist. |
