Time out?

Perused rule book, couldn't find answer. 99.9% percent sure allowable but I've never seen it and can't find reference.

Can a coach (or player) call a time out when their player is on the line and ball is at their disposal. No different than inbounding would be rationale.

Again, I've never seen it.

Yes. The shooter, his teammates, or his head coach may be granted a timeout when the ball is at his disposal at the FT line.
I've had this and the opposite where the opposing coach tried to call timeout.

Look for a phrase similar to "... such a request being granted when a player of that team is in control of the ball or the ball is at the disposal of that team."

Decide if either (or both) of those conditions exist.
