What's up with all these pay threads.
I think that all any new aspiring official should know is that you wont get rich doing this. The only ones who make a decent, comfortable living not killing themselves all year are D1 officials that do a lot of games during the season and NBA officials. The get to those 2 spots is rare and difficult. Officiating is more for love of game and not to make ends meat and survive. Especially if you only ref one sport. The officials I know that are full time officials are at least 3 sport refs, in most cases they do 4.
