Depth of a marked lane space?
A1 at the line for the 2nd of 2 free-throws.
A2 is lined up properly along lane line. On release, A2 backs up a few feet, and then when ball hits the ring, goes behind B2 (who has the space next to her). A2 did not leave her space laterally before the ball hit the ring. A2 did not disconcert. Did A2 violate just by backing up? I'm a bit confused by the language of 9.1.4(g). Are the lane spaces a 36"x36" box?
