possesion arrow

team A has possesion arrow for 2nd half throwin. they do not break their huddle in time and ball is set on floor and 5 second count occurs. team B is awarded ball for throwin. who has the next possesion arrow

Don't use resumption of play to start a half---wait 1 minute and assess a technical foul of team A isn't ready to start the half.

However, if you did this for an AP throwin coming out of a timeout, then this is a throwin violation. Switch the arrow and give the ball to B for a designated spot throwin.

This is only applicable if at least one team isn't back from the locker room. If both teams are there, but one isn't coming out, ROP is the correct procedure.

You would use the ROP if the team is on the court but has not broke the huddle. You would use 10-1-5a IF they haven't made it out of the locker room
