3-point. fumble or block

this is a should be sleeping post and tired so it might not sound sensical. ok so the word is nonsensical but whatever So if you shoot a 3 while jumping over the line even if after you release it you land inside the arc. now I was messing around doing this the other day and I thought what if I fumbled it or got blocked. and me being like MJ, LeBron and umm not Kobe cause lakers lost to the kings.) rolled into one I somehow while still in air get control of the ball and shoot it. Is that still a 3? yeah extremely difficult and I don't think I've seen it. I have done this on a two-pointer and seen a few people after getting block remain in air and catch the ball but not on a 3.
So wrap up- dribble and then jump over the 3 point line so while shooting a 3 go over the line, a1. ball fumbles but player catches in air and makes it and then lands. A2- same but blocked and catches while in air and shoots and makes it

It's a 3 if the shooter is located outside the arc. A player's location while airborne is considered to be the same as where the player last touched the floor. The only limitation in your sitch is gravity.

In both cases the shot is worth three points.

The location of a player is determined by where he/she was last in contact with the floor. If a player jumps from beyond the three point line and while airborne obtains control of the ball, any try for goal attempted by this player before he/she touched the floor would be a three point try.
