So if you shoot a 3 while jumping over the line even if after you release it you land inside the arc. now I was messing around doing this the other day and I thought what if I fumbled it or got blocked. and me being like MJ, LeBron and umm not Kobe cause lakers lost to the kings.) rolled into one I somehow while still in air get control of the ball and shoot it. Is that still a 3? yeah extremely difficult and I don't think I've seen it. I have done this on a two-pointer and seen a few people after getting block remain in air and catch the ball but not on a 3.
So wrap up- dribble and then jump over the 3 point line so while shooting a 3 go over the line, a1. ball fumbles but player catches in air and makes it and then lands. A2- same but blocked and catches while in air and shoots and makes it
