9-9-2 wording change

Did anyone else notice the wording change of the second article of the backcourt rule this season?

I thought this was added to clarify the status of a ball passed from backcourt to backcourt via the frontcourt (pass with a bunch of sidespin on the ball). I remember reading about it last year.....not sure if it was in the rules, case, or state manual though.

Yes -- but that's always been the way it's been interpreted. See 4.4.4

(still, I agree they should point it out)
