Dont have my books handy, can some one type in the wording used in the ASA rule book that allows both players and subs to enter the game twice. Please provide the rule ref.

Thanks

POE 50. Any player may be substituted or replaced, and re-entered once, providing players occupy the same batting position whenever in the line up.

Rule 4 Section 5 RE-ENTRY
A. any player, may be substituted or re-placed and re-entered once, providing the players occupy the batting positions whenever in the lineup.

B. Players may not re-enter a second time. The starting player and their substitute may not be in the line-up at the same time

Thank you.

Excellent rule. This was a change from when...3 years ago? I run a team that plays 100 games a year with 13 guys and this rule makes my life much easier as a coach.

A little more work for the Blues but great for the sport IMHO.
