Switching on Timeouts??

Does IAABO want us to switch on timeouts?? or should we bounce the ball to our partner, administer the timeout to the table, get the ball back and end up where we started??

In the current IAABO mechanics manual, time-out procedures for 2-whistle games are listed on pages 62-63 and procedures for 3-whistle games are listed on pages 164-165.

In both of those procedures, item W states: "Officials do not switch positions during a time-out, positions are to be as prior to the time-out being granted."
