T and L are away from the table in the front court. T calls a foul (no free throws) and goes to report. The foul was on the defense so the play will remain going the same direction. Where does the T end up on the switch?

Stay at the T and put the ball in play or switch with the L? I thought there would be a switch but was told to stay. I can't find confirmation for either in the official's manual.

Lightbulb They will stay.

The T is going to stay. They are not going to switch at all, just report and go right back to their spot. Unless for some reason the ball will be on the table side for some reason.

Peace

I think the new NCAA mens mechanic is for the foul caller to go table-side this year, not sure about the womens mechanic - but I assume you guys are talking Fed...

You are correct. But unless he specifically asks about NCAA (which I can assume most are not doing), I am always going to assume that they are talking about FED. After all, most of us work under FED Mechanics.

Peace

J is right. He/She should step out, report, and go back to T.
