It gets better...The story ran in my morning paper-with the typo. It's bad enough that it went online. At least there, it can be corrected. In print, it's forever.

Isn't somebody at AP supposed to check copy? Isn't somebody at my local paper supposed to read a wire story before they decide to use it?

At least they corrected it at ESPN.
Edit: I checked The AP website, and searched Donaghy to get the story from them. They have not corrected the error.
