Yea, why would anyone want a .300 hitting left fielder with 20 home runs?

"left fielder" may be a stretch......how about this - "Yea, why would anyone want a .300 hitting player who can occupy left field with 20 home runs.

I'll grant you, on an oft occasion he makes a nice play, but overall, not so much an asset in the field.

Again, he's a free asset for the Dodgers with the Sox picking up the salary.

Hey, at that price, I was going to have him come play softball on my team. He would fit right in with rest us - we can hit ok while occuping a space out in the field.

Good luck getting Chuck's team to foot the bill for your team to bring in a ringer DH.

"Occuping"? Too much of that will make you go blind.

If you meant "occupying a space out in a field", that pretty much sums up your whole existence, doesn't it? Hell, they could put that on your tombstone:

Here lies M&M Guy
He occupied a space out in a field.
